Andy Brass is Professor of Bioinformatics at the University of Manchester. He has worked closely with Health Education England and the National School of Healthcare Sciences in the development and delivery of the Scientist Training Programme for Clinical Bioinformatics, and more recently on the education and capacity building that will be needed for the delivery of the recommendations from the Topol review across healthcare.
